BANFF NATIONAL PARK
Lake Louise (sunrise photo) Get there early before 7 am or there is NO parking.
#1 Lake Agnes Trail to Mirror Lake to Devil's Thumb- all day hike straight up!
Eat at Chateaux Lake Louise
#2 Johnston Canyon Lower and Upper Falls. Beautiful and not difficult. Parking can fill up early so get there early!
City of Banff -
#3Viewpoint and trail Bowfalls. -Easy
Follow parking instructions for visitors and visit the visitor center ASAP for info about shuttles to Lake Louise for future info. Shop the town and eat. We Recommend the Rooftop at the Elk (& oarsman). Awesome coffee drinks and flatbreads.
Also visit Morrainne Lake!
YOHO NATIONAL PARK
#1 Hike Johnston Canyon; get there early because parking fills up. It is not strenuous, see upper and lower. about an hour
#2 Wapta Falls- good warm up hike with beautiful falls from above and if you continue on, from below.
#3 Natural bridge lower and Upper, not much of a hike, easy to see
#4 Must see Emerald Lake! Easy walk all around, lots of people and parking.
#5 If you have over 3 hours, See Lake O'Hara and Lake Oesa via the Alpine Loop trail (5.6 mils) We didn't have the time, but it is on my bucket list.
GLACIER NATIONAL PARK
We just scratched the surface ere:
#1 Bear Creek Falls, steep down and up short hike. Look out for all the little frogs that blend into the path (in the late summer, anyways). less than 1 mile
#2 Eat at The Village Idiot Grill, in Revelstoke; unique food and specialized drink menu
